Among them, the ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Moist Cream with 10 types of hyaluronic acid has become my go-to face moisturizer for combination skin. I’ve been continuously testing out different products from their line, and it seems like I’ll be trying them all.
In this skincare review, I’ll cover all the ISNTREE products I’ve tried so far from the brand, sharing my experience with each. If you are considering trying out their products, you can find my detailed reviews below.
✨ MY 35+ SKIN PROFILE AND SKINCARE ROUTINE ✨ Skin Type: Combination skin prone to dryness, sensitivity, texture and a bit of T-zone oiliness, especially in the summer. Light skin with a cool undertone. Goals: Increasing hydration, minimizing irritations, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and texture + preventing sun damage. 1. ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Moist Cream Review
Top Benefits: Intense Hydration, Lightweight, 10 Types Of HA | Price: $$ | Size: 3.38 fL. oZ/ 100 mL.
Key Ingredients: 10 types of hyaluronic acid, glycerin, oat extract, shea butter; fragrance-free.
I will start this ISNTREE skincare review with my ultimate favorite product from their lineup: the ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Moist Cream with 10 types of hyaluronic acid.
This is one of the most perfect moisturizer for combination skin with the most perfect moisture balance. Lightweight, yet super hydrating. With no heavy feeling, tackiness or greasiness on the skin. I was able to use it in both summer and winter and one tube with two applications each day usually lasts me up to 6 months.
It’s a 100 mL tube, creamy moisturizer with 10 types of hyaluronic acid, glycerin, oat extract and shea butter – all to deeply moisturize the skin. Completely fragrance-free. Plus, a nice glowing natural finish once fully absorbed into the skin.
The 10 types of hyaluronic acid are essentially different sizes of HA that can penetrate better and hence help with skin hydration best. I haven’t seen this in many ingredient lists, so it’s rare, yet effective to have that many forms of HA in a moisturizer.
I love it. ❤️ It’s been part of my skincare routine for over a year.
Same as with Purito From Green Deep Foaming Cleanser, from my Purito skincare brand review, it’s the type of product that you always hope to find. To cost low, to deliver high – well balanced with skin-beneficial ingredients for all skin types, including combination skin.
It’s also 100% included in my best Korean skincare products for combination skin list.
If you have combination to dry skin or simply you are looking for a Korean moisturizer that strikes just the right balance between hydration and a lightweight feel, you will love this as much as I do.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:
- Intense Hydration: provides intense hydration, making it suitable for combination to dry skin types.
- Lightweight: despite its hydrating properties, the cream feels lightweight on the skin, avoiding any heavy or greasy sensation.
- 10 Types of Hyaluronic Acid: contains 10 different types of hyaluronic acid, allowing for better penetration and enhanced skin hydration.
- Skin-Beneficial Ingredients: formulated with skin-beneficial ingredients like 10 types of hyaluronic acid, glycerin, oat extract, and shea butter.
- Long-Lasting: a 100 mL tube lasts for up to 6 months with twice-daily application, providing good value for money.
- Fragrance-Free: suitable for sensitive skin as it’s completely fragrance-free.
- Natural Glowing Finish: leaves a nice glowing natural finish on the skin once fully absorbed.
- Cons:
- None
2. ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream Review
Top Benefits: Light Hydration, Soothing, 5 Types Of HA | Price: $$ | Size: 3.38 fL. oZ/ 100 mL.
Key Ingredients: 5 types of hyaluronic acid, glycerin, allantoin, squalane, centella extract, green tea, licorice extract, oat extract, shea butter; fragrance-free.
ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream is the lighter version of the ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Moist Cream.
It includes only 5 types of hyaluronic acid, yet it boosts its effectiveness with added glycerin, allantoin, squalane, centella extract, green tea, licorice extract, oat extract, and shea butter in maintaining skin hydration as well as minimizing irritation.
It’s slightly lighter than its 10 types of hyaluronic acid sister and is ideal for use during summer when the skin tends to be oilier.
Creamy texture, feels great and light on the skin, with no scent. A little goes a long way. I would argue that it feels like a gel. It’s more of a lightweight lotion.
Overall, it’s a nice lightweight moisturizer in a 100-mL tube. I think that those with oily or irritated skin will benefit the most from using it based on its texture, ingredients and moisture level.
As someone with combination skin who’s more prone to dryness, I prefer its richer sister with 10 types of HA. But, if you prefer a lighter option and have more of a normal – combination skin, I think you may enjoy this one all year around.
Pros and Cons:
- Pros:
- Light Hydration: provides hydration without feeling heavy or greasy on the skin.
- Soothing: contains ingredients like allantoin, centella extract, and oat extract to soothe and calm irritated skin.
- 5 Types of Hyaluronic Acid: formulated with 5 types of hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin.
- Creamy Texture: applies smoothly onto the skin and feels light, almost like a gel, despite being a cream.
- Fragrance-Free: suitable for sensitive skin as it doesn’t contain any added fragrance.
- Ideal for Summer: lighter formulation makes it suitable for use during warmer months, especially for oily or combination skin types.
- Cons:
- May not be Hydrating Enough for Dry Skin Types: those with dry skin may find the lighter formula less moisturizing compared to the richer version with 10 types of hyaluronic acid.
3. ISNTREE Green Tea Fresh Emulsion Review
Top Benefits: Oil Control, Moisture Balance | Price: $ | Size: 4.05 fL. oZ/ 120 mL.
Key Ingredients: green tea, glycerin, centella extract, willow bark extract, allantoin; fragrance-free, yet includes extracts and has a mild medicinal scent.
Next on my ISNTREE skincare review, I also tried the ISNTREE Green Tea Fresh Emulsion.
It’s one of the lightest face moisturizer of anything I’ve tried so far. With a slight medicinal scent. It feels like a watery lotion, applies smoothly to the skin, helps control oil and mattify a little when it absorbs.
For my combination skin, it feels too light though. I was able to use it during summer and it was okay. It definitely reduced the T-zone oiliness. But I still had to put something on top of it to add more moisture.
The product includes a combination of green tea, glycerin, centella extract, willow bark extract, and allantoin to regulate oil production and hydrate the skin.
Green tea, known for its astringent properties, can help to minimize the look of pores and reduce sebum production (source), while centella has the ability to help soothe and reduce irritation (source).
If your primary focus is on managing oiliness, and you are looking for an ultra lightweight moisturizer formulated with green tea to reduce excess oil, you may find ISNTREE Green Tea Fresh Emulsion great and useful.
Pros and Cons:
- Pros:
- Oil Control: effectively controls oil production, reducing T-zone oiliness.
- Moisture Balance: contains ingredients like green tea, glycerin, centella extract, willow bark extract, and allantoin to hydrate the skin while regulating oil production.
- Lightweight Texture: the emulsion has a watery lotion-like consistency, making it suitable for those who prefer lightweight moisturizers.
- Mattifying Effect: helps mattify the skin upon absorption, providing a smooth finish.
- Fragrance-Free: suitable for sensitive skin.
- Cons:
- May Not Provide Enough Moisture for Some Skin Types: those with combination to dry skin may find the emulsion too lightweight and may require additional moisturization.
- Medicinal Scent: the emulsion has a mild medicinal scent, which may not appeal to all.
4. ISNTREE Green Tea Fresh Toner Review
Top Benefits: Oil Control | Price: $ | Size: 6.76 fL. oZ/ 200 mL.
Key Ingredients: 80% green tea extract, 0.01% centella extract, willow bark extract, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, allantoin; fragrance-free, yet includes extracts and has a mild medicinal scent.
Continuing, I also tried ISNTREE’s Green Tea Fresh Toner. I think I got it along with ISNTREE Green Tea Fresh Emulsion, as they pair nicely together.
It’s a water-like brown toner with 80% green tea extract, 0.01% centella extract, willow bark extract, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid and allantoin – to help reduce and control sebum and oil. With a slight medicinal scent.
Just like the emulsion, the product includes a blend of green tea, centella extract, willow bark extract, and allantoin to balance oil and hydrate the skin. It’s glycerin-free with a mattifying action when applied.
I found it really handy on hot days. Even though oil control is not my primary skincare goal, the toner feels refreshing and calming on the skin. Lowers shine from the first use.
You get a nice amount for the money and a little goes long way. If you need an oil control toner, this is one Korean option that works.
Pros and Cons:
- Pros
- Oil Control: effectively reduces and controls sebum and oil production.
- Price: affordable option for the quantity provided.
- Size: generous size of 6.76 fl. oz / 200 mL.
- Key Ingredients: contains beneficial ingredients such as 80% green tea extract, 0.01% centella extract, willow bark extract, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, and allantoin.
- Fragrance-Free: suitable for those sensitive to fragrance.
- Refreshing and Calming: provides a refreshing and calming sensation on the skin, particularly beneficial on hot days.
- Mattifying Action: offers a mattifying effect upon application, suitable for those looking to control shine.
- Cons:
- Medicinal Scent: has a mild medicinal scent, which may not be preferable for all.
- Glycerin-Free: some may prefer products containing glycerin for additional hydration.
5. ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel SPF 50 PA +++ Review
Top Benefits: SPF 50 PA+++ UVA/ UVB, No White Cast, Lightweight | Price: $$ | Size: 1.69 fL. oZ/ 50 mL.
Key Ingredients: SPF – bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine, Methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol, homosalate; niacinamide, ceramide, centella, 8 types of hyaluronic acid; fragrance-free.
The ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel SPF 50 PA +++ is a chemical sunscreen with atypical sun protection ingredients for the United States, some of which may challenge your pronunciation skills. However, just because they are difficult to say does not reduce their efficacy.
Apart from the SPF ingredients, it also contains niacinamide, ceramide, centella, and 8 types of hyaluronic acid to help moisturize the skin.
The product is lightweight with a creamy texture that absorbs nicely into the skin, leaving behind no sticky residue and a natural glowing finish.
It has no white cast, feels non-drying on the skin, and is fragrance-free. With the same quantity as 95% of sunscreens: 50 mL.
Generally, the only thing I don’t get about sunscreens is why they are making them in such tiny amounts per tube when we need so much to apply. 😞
The sunscreen formula though is elegant and works well. It protects, and I never burned while using it. It looks natural on the skin and works great under makeup.
I must say though, I noticed a slight sensitivity around my eyes using it. Yet, nothing extreme. Nonetheless, it’s worth noting that this is a common occurrence for me with most chemical sunscreens – they tend to irritate my eyes.
Overall, this is a non-greasy, white cast-free, lightweight sunscreen that works as intended.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:
- High Sun Protection: SPF 50 PA+++ offers strong protection against both UVA and UVB rays.
- Lightweight Texture: the creamy texture absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving a sticky residue.
- No White Cast: the sunscreen formula does not leave behind a white cast on the skin.
- Moisturizing Ingredients: contains niacinamide, ceramide, centella, and 8 types of hyaluronic acid to help moisturize the skin.
- Fragrance-Free: suitable for sensitive skin as it’s free from fragrance.
- Elegant Formula: works well under makeup.
- Effective Protection: provides effective sun protection, preventing sunburn.
- Natural Finish: leaves a natural glowing finish on the skin.
- Cons:
- Eye Sensitivity: some may experience slight sensitivity around the eyes.
- Small Quantity: comes in a 50 mL tube, which may not be sufficient for regular use over an extended period.
