Purito Skincare One Brand Review

Purito skincare review: my experience with Purito skincare products, what I’ve tried and recommend.

Continuing the series of me reviewing each product I’ve tried from a brand in a single post (no. 3), today I’m including Purito skincare.

*** This post is not sponsored by Purito.

Purito is a Korean skincare brand I decided to try out of curiosity. I’ve kinda made a habit of trying Korean skincare products lately, as they seem to be more lightweight as well as hydrating without feeling heavy on the skin. Speaking here mostly of Korean moisturizers.

In this post, I will cover the products I’ve tried so far from Purito and share my experience. If you are interested in trying out their products, check out my reviews below.

MY 35+ SKIN PROFILE AND SKINCARE ROUTINESkin Type: Combination skin prone to dryness, sensitivity, texture and a bit of T-zone oiliness, especially in the summer. Light skin with a cool undertone.

Goals: Increasing hydration, minimizing irritations, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and texture + preventing sun damage.

Skincare Routine: Love rotating skincare products, favoring retinoids for their anti-aging benefits and adjusting my routine based on the needs of my skin. Typically a maximum of 5-steps skincare routine.

✨In my skincare routine for combination skin, I go over my routine in more depth, including top product recommendations and tips.

Challenges: Finding products to meet all my skin goals and needs without feeling greasy or irritating.

1. Purito Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack Review

Purito Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack Review
Purito Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack

Price: $ | Size: 2.70 fL. oZ/ 80 mL | Best: Hydrating, Multi Use, Soothing, Anti-Irritation, For Combination To Dry Skin, Leave-On Mask.

Key Ingredients: centella, glycerin, squalane, jojoba oil, madecassic acid, asiatic acid, panthenol, ceramide np, sodium hyaluronate, green tea; fragrance-free.

The first product I want to talk about in this Purito skincare review is the Purito Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack, which surprised me in a good way. Plus, if I remember correctly, this is also the first product I’ve tried from them.

As a mask, I wasn’t expecting it to feel so hydrating and light at the same time. It’s creamy but lightweight in texture with a glowing finish and a neutral scent.

For my combination skin, I was able to use it as a primary moisturizer at night, or anytime I needed it in my skincare routine to help with dryness and irritations. Since retinoids often dry out and irritate my skin, I always make sure to have skin care products on hand to combat the redness and dryness I experience. This cream/ mask has been a big help with that.

As for the ingredients, I like that they are simple and on point. As a skincare enthusiast, buying products by ingredients and not the claims, this Purito mask stood out to me as being hydrating and soothing to the skin.

It contains centella, glycerin, squalane, jojoba oil, madecassic acid, asiatic acid, panthenol, ceramide np, sodium hyaluronate and green tea – all with hydrating, soothing and anti-inflammatory benefits.

Centella extract is hydrating and soothing, and is one of the ingredients for which we do have studies showing its benefits. (Source) Madecassic acid and Asiatic acid, even though they are called acids, are two compounds in Centella Asiatica extract that have anti-inflammatory, healing and antioxidant properties. (Source)

Glycerin, squalane, jojoba oil, panthenol, ceramide NP, sodium hyaluronate, and green tea are all effective ingredients for hydrating and repairing the skin.

Overall, this is great leave-on mask/ face moisturizer for hydrating, protecting and calming the skin. It’s lightweight but really moisturizing. It delivers.

If you are someone like me who is dealing with dryness and irritations and looking for something light, yet hydrating, soothing and calming – with simple and efficient ingredients, I think you will enjoy this dual use cream.

2. Purito Centella Unscented Toner Review

Purito Centella Unscented Toner Review
Purito Centella Unscented Toner

Top Benefits: Calming, Skin Barrier Support, Hydration | Price: $$ | Size: 7.6 fL. oZ/ 200 mL.

Key Ingredients: 10% centella, sodium hyaluronate, madecassic acid, asiatic acid, panthenol, allantoin; fragrance-free.

The next product I tried and would like to include in my Purito skincare review is the Purito Centella Unscented Toner.

With this one, I was expecting a water-like toner that would absorb immediately into the skin. But I got a real serum-like toner with a bit of a non-runny consistency that goes a very long way, completely fragrance-free.

I have combination skin that tends to get dry and irritated. When I first tried the toner, it was really helpful at calming and lightly hydrating my skin. Now, I found myself using it whenever I notice signs of irritation and dryness on my face.

It feels lovely and somehow slippery on the skin and works well for massage as it takes some time to absorb. It leaves no residue or tackiness behind and can be layered with almost anything.

A little goes a long way. I’ve been using the bottle for about 6 months and haven’t finished it yet. True, this is not the only toner I use on my skincare routine, but rather once or maybe twice a week, but still, it lasts incredibly long.

For the ingredients, it contains 10% centella, sodium hyaluronate, madecassic acid, asiatic acid, panthenol, and allantoin – all with hydrating, soothing and anti-inflammatory benefits.

One thing to note on the ingredients is that it does not contain glycerin. Quite rare since glycerin is in almost everything. Perhaps this explains why this toner isn’t sticky at all.

All in all, while I prefer toners with a water-like consistency that absorbs quickly, I do value this Purito toner as it lives up to its claims. It’s calming, hydrating, affordable, and you get a huge amount for the price.

If you are looking for a glycerin-free centella calming toner that is fragrance-free with skin barrier support abilities, I think you will absolutely love this toner.

3. Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream Review

Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream Review
Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream

Price: $ | Size: 1 fL. oZ/ 30 mL | Best: Healthy-Glow Finish; Skin Soothing Ingredients; Light To Medium Coverage, For Oily Skin.

Key Ingredients: niacinamide, centella, madecassic acid, asiatic acid, panthenol, allantoin, vitamin E; fragrance-free (for me it does have a neutral scent though).

Next in this Purito skincare review, I also tried the Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream.

Honestly, I didn’t use this Purito Cica BB Cream as often as I would have liked because I wanted first to finish my all time favorite Missha BB Cream before expiring. But from the few times I’ve tried it, I can say it’s a neutral scented, natural BB cream with a semi-glowing finish and light to medium coverage that can be built up as needed.

I have combination to dry skin that is also sensitive. I noticed that when I’m putting on this BB cream, it feels a bit drying, emphasizing my fine lines. I do have a pretty good skincare routine focusing on hydration, so I’m excluding the lack of hydration as being the cause. It did not cause any irritation though, feeling quite soothing on the skin.

For the shade, I have the #21 Light Beige, which is a cool tone-friendly shade. Not grey, but not yellow either, something in between. Being cool-tone and lighter in complexion matches me very well.

The ingredients include niacinamide, centella, madecassic acid, asiatic acid, panthenol, allantoin, and vitamin E – all soothing and lightly moisturizing.

Bottom line, I don’t think this Cica BB cream is the right BB cream for my needs and skin type. I think it’s better suited for people with oilier skin types as it tends to dry and mattify a bit. I will probably explore more with it, but that’s pretty much all about it.

If you have normal to oily skin and not so much fine lines, you will most likely love this more as the formula itself is performing. It also contains skin-friendly ingredients that can help soothe the skin. Plus, a pretty good coverage if you are dealing with blemishes.

4. Purito From Green Deep Foaming Cleanser Review

Purito From Green Deep Foaming Cleanser

Top Benefits: Foaming Texture, Gentle Yet Deep Cleansing, Non-Drying | Price: $ | Size: 5.07 fL. oZ/ 150 mL.

Key Ingredients: sodium cocoyl isethionate (coconut-derived surfactant), glycerin, coco-betaine (naturally derived surfactant), centella extract, green tea extract, licorice root extract; fragrance-free.

Last but not least in my Purito skincare review, I’m including the Purito From Green Deep Foaming Cleanser.

Now, this was my greatest find of 2023.

It’s a creamy, relatively thick in texture face wash, formulated with sodium cocoyl isethionate (coconut-derived surfactant), glycerin, coco-betaine (naturally derived surfactant), centella extract, green tea extract and licorice root extract to remove impurities from the pores and strengthen the skin barrier.

Centella extract is hydrating and soothing, and is one of the ingredients for which we have studies showing its benefits. (Source) The same goes for licorice root extract, which has been shown to have antioxidant properties. (Source)

Not that all of these ingredients will have time to do much in a face wash, but they can certainly contribute to making it feel gentle and non-drying on the skin.

A little goes a very long way. I’ve managed to use one tube for 8 months straight with 1 use per day to completely finish it. As a reference, the quantity on my hand in the image above is more than enough for two washes, that’s how effective is.

Its lather is rich, feels gentle and moisturizing on the skin, and never dries the skin out. It also removes any normal makeup + sunscreen. Zero fragrance.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Purito From Green Deep Foaming Cleanser. It’s the type of product that you always hope to find. To cost low, to deliver high – well balanced with simple, skin-loving ingredients for all skin types, including combination skin.

I’m on the second tube. Love it! ❤️

Purito Skincare Products I Recommend

Purito From Green Deep Foaming Cleanser and Purito Centella Unscented Toner are my top recommendations from Purito. Purito From Green Deep Foaming Cleanser is a highly lathering, gentle cleanser that cleans the skin beautifully without drying it out, while Purito Centella Unscented Toner is soothing and calming to the skin. Moreover, they are pretty affordable and come in a generous amount, which means they will last you a long time and save you money in the long run.

Purito Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack is also an excellent option to consider if you are in the market for a dual-use cream/ mask. It delivers by feeling both lightweight and moisturizing at the same time.
